what i have found out about teenagers are that some teenagers are not all bad and a lot of people think teenagers are bad when they are not and news and television are stereotypes because they say all of the bad stuff about the teenagers

Teenagers are represented in films aggressively such as anuva hood because anuva hood is teenagers getting into trouble and committing crimes and making fun off it.the reason why film makers involve teenagers is because most people that watch films are teenagers and they all get stereotyped and they watch the films because the characters are like themselves.

Teenagers get represented in the news by bad things that have happened like theft, criminal damage,and violnce but sometimes teenagers are involved in good things like awards. there are programs starting to help teenagers with there lives i think this is a good thing because it will show the teenagers that what they are doing is wrong if they are committing a crime. Some people are stereotyping through the news just because someone is wearing a hoodie and standing outside a shop and they are not doing anything Wrong. The people who are calling teenagers bad things about teenagers are adults.

I have decided to choose teenagers as my representation case study because i am a teenager myself and that teenagers have a bad name (stereotype).The area i am going to explore about teenagers is television because teenagers appear on television quite a lot. The programs i am going to watch and get some information about teenagers is the news and teenager films such as kidulthood, anuva hood. the reason why i am watching these films/programs is because theese films/programs are all to do with teenagers and they all include stereotype.
